This week's midweek roll call shorty features Sgt Ritamary Thomason's and her path from homeless, to Sergeant and race car driver!
There is nothing you can't accomplish....NOTHING.  Im sure along the way people told Ritamarie "NO", or "stop the silly stuff" but in true warrior fashion she never gave up and met and exceeded her goals.

E11: When one of us is MURDERED. The Darkness | Project Sapient

Powerfull episode: We've all been there.  A brother or sister in blue is murdered. The funeral is painful.  The silence is deafening. Our brother /sister was taken from us.  Taken from their family.  For some, the world stops - it almost SKIPS A BEAT. Like a flutter in the heart. A bad one. 
This episode Ayman and Pete go deep into the issue and discuss everything. 
They reiterate that that other side of murder (suicide) is just as dark.  So don't hesitate, reach out, talk - the guys are always here for everyone.
We would rather talk to you for an hour at 3am and really LISTEN to you - than talk about you at your funeral. If you had a bad day, if you want to bit@h and moan, or talk about a brother or sister you lost - we are here.

M10: Phoenix Gunman + Child= Bada$$sery | Midweek Roll call | Project Sapient

This weeks midweek roll call (15 minutes) highlights the stunning bravery of the Officers of the Phoenix police department. 
Officers responded to 911 calls that reported a man fighting with a woman at a hotel
The callers also reported that a man was shooting at people while holding a baby.
Officers arrived within a minute of the 911 calls and saw the suspect armed and shooting a gun while holding the baby. Officers told the suspect to drop the gun and he refused.
An officer armed with his city issued rifle shot at the suspect when he saw the suspect point the gun at the baby and others. The suspect was injured, and officers immediately ran to the baby and the driver of the white vehicle to move them to safety.

The guys also highlight how one of Ayman's articles wasn't actually read but rather ingested by some(who probably weren't even cops but rather KEYBOARD warriors) resulting in a case of Terrible 2's.

M9: Midweek rollcall - A heart of GOLD. This woman deserves 10x what she is getting

This weeks mid week shout out is all about a civilian who chose to extend her heart and literally EVERYTHING she had for an Officer in need; and what she received back is well deserved. 
The universe never forgets.  Everything always comes back full circle.  Good always conquers evil - sometimes it may take some time..but it always does.
